To meet the upcoming festive purchase fever, a number of two-wheeler companies like Hero Honda, Bajaj Auto, HMSI, TVS Motors and Suzuki Motorcycles have lined up a slew of launches in various segments. After recently launching a 125cc Platina bike, there is another bike to be introduced by Bajaj Auto shortly. Hero Honda will too, launch a bike during Diwali festival. TVS Motors will launch a scooter as well as an 180cc Apache bike. According to a senior representative of Bajaj Auto, the two upcoming models will be based on the engine platform shared with its XCD 125 model. The first launch will take place before December’08, while the other one will happen before the end of the current financial year, he added.It has been learnt that Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI), will bring in its fifth scooter in the domestic market. Suzuki Motorcycle and Scooter India will also shortly roll out a scooter and a motorcycle in the 125cc segment.The consumer is surely getting spoilt for choice as far as two-wheelers are concerned.
