After having launched the Logan in Nepal last month, Mahindra-Renault is now taking this budget sedan to the South African market. The company has already shipped the first batch of 200 Logan cars to South Africa, and will now start exploring other right-hand-drive markets as well. With the launch of the limited edition Logan Edge earlier this year, sales of this car seem to have picked up somewhat in the domestic market too. Since its launch in May last year, Mahindra-Renault has sold around 33,000 units of the Logan in India, about 70% of which were diesel models.Mahindra-Renault is now said to be working on a CNG variant of the Logan, which could be out in the market by the end of this year.
