About Us

Vahini Automobile Club (“Vahini”) is a club for automobile-passionate management students, which brings together like-minded students from various B-schools on a common platform to Learn, Share & Improve their knowledge on various aspects regarding the automobile business.

Our objective is to provide an open avenue for these AUTO-PASSIONATE and budding managers from various B-schools and facilitate them to interact with all its members from other B-schools as well as with professionals serving the automobile industry. Through this club, we aim to craft and channelise this passion, not only to assist in developing managerial and professional skills in our members required to grow and succeed in the industry, but also to help in improving the overall Indian automobile sector through the infusion of fresh and innovative talent.

The club has already received appreciation from many renowned personalities from the automobile industry, including Mr. Anand Mahindra (Vice-Chairman and M.D, Mahindra and Mahindra), Mr. Rajiv Bajaj (M.D, Bajaj Auto) and Mr. Rajeev Chaba (Ex-President, GM India and CEO, GM Egypt).

The exclusive website of Vahini is “www.vahini.co.in”, which was formally inaugurated by Mr. Hormazd Sorabjee, Editor of the ‘Autocar’ magazine, on January 12, 2008 at New Delhi. This website is the virtual meeting point for all our club members and also has an updated collection of news and articles from Indian as well as the international automobile arena.

Our activities will be focused upon the enhancement of the passion of its members and the innovation and improvement of the Indian automobile sector.
